Paper Presentation on Educational Reforms & Libraries - Their Usage in Modern Era
Jalandhar, Jan.22 (DNS)- Keeping alive the tradition of Academic Paper Presentation, teachers of CT Public School participated today in the sixth phase. It not only created aplomb but also updated the teaching faculty and enhanced their knowledge in numerous specific fields.
At the very outset, Mrs. Anuradha Sharma presented her paper on “Educational Reforms”. She spoke on the Reforms made for class X by the Human & Resource Development Minister, Mr. Kapil Sibal and enlightened the teaching faculty regarding the changes done by him in catering quality education to the students throughout India, and how they can be benefited by these reforms.
There after, the next academic papers were presented by Miss Pooja Sharma from English Department. She spoke on the topic Library – and its uses in modern era. Miss Pooja made the audience aware regarding the role of library, its usage by teacher and taught, its history, computerization of library, clipping management, its functioning etc. She accentuated up on the role of librarian in schools and colleges, as librarian is a one who can inculcate reading habits amongst the student community.

CT Pians welcome winter with warmth
Jalandhar, Jan. 13 (DNS)- With the inception of the New Year 2010, the biting chill has also set in. In C T Public School, under the able guidance and supervision of Principal Mrs. Lakhvinder Kaur, the Activity Incharge Ms. Pooja and class incharges of class IV to XI coducted a sizzling Activity ‘How to keep ourselves Warm’ and free from numerous infections and diseases during these chilly months?
Every Class Incharge accompanied her class students and interacted with the students sensitizing them on how they can protect themselves from the waves of severe cold during this cold and numb weather.
The Vice Principal, Mrs. Anumita Gosal along with the Class Incharges gave the pupils tips regarding their intake of diet, dressing sense, cleanliness and hygiene. The students were advised not to consume cold drinks; rather they should have hot drinks such as hot chocolate milk , bournvita and consume diet containing fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
