India (A) sixth at Asia Pacific Seniors Golf
Perth, It was a modest start for the Indian teams at the Asia-Pacific Seniors Golf at the famous Royal Perth Golf Club Wednesday. India A were lying sixth, while the second team was further down on the leaderboard.
India's Team A was lying sixth with the day's two best scores being provided by Gangesh Khaitan (82) and Vijay Kumar (85) while Laxman Singh shot 86. India A were lying sixth with a total of 167.
India's Team B with Ashish Dube (85) and Nalin Kant (86) were further down. IPS Mann carded 90.

CTPS Hostel Organises Annual Athletic Meet
Jalandhar, Feb.3 (Doaba News Service)- An Inter House Annual Athletic Meet was organized in the premises of CTPS Hostel. Athletes hailing from Beas and Satluj Houses participated in the meet with full zeal and fervour. The main events of the meet were 100m, 200m, 400m, Long Jump, Shotput, Relays, Medley Relay for sub-Juniors, Juniors and Seniors Categories. Both the houses gave a tough fight to each other in playground in both tracks as well as field events. The performance of each and every Athlete was an exemplary one which was applauded by one and all present there. Mrs. Lakhvinder Kaur CTPS and Vice-Principal Mrs. Anumita Gosal were present to recognise and appreciate the efforts of the House-masters as well as of the participants. Ms. Mamta, House-mistress Satluj House and Ms. Shalini House-mistress Beas House were there to back-up the participants their houses.
