Jalandhar, Dec.18 (DNS)- A seminar on Safety and First Aid was organized for students of class IX in the meeting hall by Dr. Gurjeet Kaur in which madam Gurjeet acuainted the students what should be done to the patient on the spot and what first aid should be provided to the person suffering from trauma. She elaborated all the points and made the students aware how to deal a case of casuality, fracture, haemorrhage, epistaxis, snake bite, insect sting, burns and scalds etc., before rushing the patient to the hospital and what all first aid should be provided to the affected person. She also introduced a list of things which should be kept ready in First Aid Box. She also taught the students how to tie a bandage in case of various types of injuries and how to move an injured person without causing a deterioration in his condition.
