Government Primary School Doraha Shines at Centre-Level Sports Meet Wins the Overall Trophy

October 17, Doraha (Amrish Anand)As per the guidelines of the Punjab School Education Department, centre-level sports competitions were organized at Centre Jaipura under the supervision of Centre Incharge, S. Kuldeep Singh. Players from 10 schools participated in this tournament with great enthusiasm.The students of Government Primary School Doraha displayed outstanding performances, securing first positions and gold medals in several events including 100m (boys), 200m (boys), shot put (boys), relay race (boys), long jump (girls), wrestling (28kg, 30kg), and kabaddi (circle style).They also won silver medals by achieving second positions in long jump (boys), wrestling (25kg boys), and 400m race (girls). The girls’ relay race team and shot put (girls) secured third positions, earning bronze medals.By winning the highest number of medals, Government Primary School Doraha was awarded the Overall Trophy of the tournament.Upon their return to school, the victorious athletes were warmly felicitated by Head Teacher S. Kamaljit Singh, along with staff members S. Ravinder Singh, S. Sukhwinder Singh, Madam Karamjit Kaur, Madam Sangeeta, Madam Navdeep Kaur, Madam Kirandeep Kaur, Madam Mandeep Kaur, Madam Principal Kaur, Madam Randeep Kaur, Madam Jagdeep Kaur, and Madam Sandeep Kaur.
