Lecture Series Organised at GCG Malerkotla To Memorize the 350th Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Malerkotla Nov11,With the directions of Directorate Higher Education & Languages and under the progressive leadership of Principal Dr Anila Sultana ji lecture series organised at Govt College for Girls, Malerkotla in the memory of 350th Martyrdom of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The resource persons for the day were Prof. Sagar Khurana, Head Dept of History and Prof. Gurbaz Singh, Dept of Political Science from Govt College, Shri Mukatsar Sahib. Principal Dr Anila Sultana welcomed the resource persons with bouquets. Convenor Prof. Kamal Kishore initiated the talk by introducing the Resource Persons and talked about the glorious history of the Sikh Faith. Keynote speaker Prof. Sagar Khurana elaborated on the life and contributions of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He spoke on the development of Sikhism along with illustrations. He discussed separate aspects tremendously. Prof. Gurbaz Singh spoke on the sacrifices of Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das & Bhai Dayala ji. He also spoke on the valour of Bhai Jaita ji and Bhai Lakhi Shah Banjara ji. In the end resource persons were honoured with the token of appreciation. Prof. Paramjit Kaur presented a vote of thanks. Mandeep Singh was present on the occasion.
