Partap Bajwa’s Statement Spreads Panic in Punjab, Must Reveal Where Remaining 32 Bombs Are: Advocate Rajinder Pal Anand

Patiala,Advocate Shri Rajinder Pal Anand—Former DSP, State President of Punjab Police Family Welfare Association, National Senior Vice President of All India Anti-Terrorist Anti-Crime Front, and National Senior Vice President of Shri Hindu Takht, Kali Mata Mandir Patiala—issued a statement criticizing Sardar Partap Singh Bajwa. He stated that Bajwa, a highly responsible and seasoned political leader, created fear among the people of Punjab by claiming that 50 bombs have reached Punjab, of which 18 have already exploded and 32 are yet to go off.Advocate Anand said that Bajwa not only made this alarming statement but also cast doubt on the image and performance of the Punjab Police. Addressing Bajwa, he said that if he truly is a responsible citizen of Punjab and India and cares about the people, then he must tell them where these bombs have come from and where the remaining 32 unexploded bombs are located. He further reminded Bajwa that it was this very same brave and courageous Punjab Police that eradicated terrorism in Punjab—from 100 degrees down to zero—in just 14 years. Hundreds of police officers and personnel laid down their lives in this battle, sacrifices that can never be forgotten.Even today, the Punjab Police are risking their lives fighting against smugglers and gangsters, as evidenced recently by the martyrdom of Sub-Inspector Charanjit Singh in Tarn Taran. According to Advocate Anand, Bajwa has no right to spread fear in Punjab through such statements or to question the performance of the capable and valiant Punjab Police. He concluded by demanding that Partap Bajwa apologize to the Punjab Police for his irresponsible remarks.
