Four Killed in Another Road Accident in Badakhshan

Earlier, on October 24, at least four people were killed and eight others injured after a passenger vehicle overturned in Afghanistan’s remote northern province of Badakhshan.

According to Ariana News, quoting a local official, the accident occurred while the vehicle was travelling towards the Kofab and Yaftal districts of the province.

Officials did not disclose the cause of the accident. The injured were shifted to the provincial hospital for treatment.

Badakhshan is a sparsely populated mountainous province with difficult geographical terrain and limited road infrastructure. Road accidents frequently occur in the region due to these challenging conditions.
