World Nature Conservation Day observed at GPC

Mandi Gobindgarh,World Nature Conservation Day observed at Gobindgarh Public College, Alour (Khanna)yesterday.College Principal,Dr Neena Seth Pajni was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the teachers and students,Dr Pajni said that every year,World Nature Conservation Day is observed on July 28 to raise awareness regarding the protection of nature and its resources.The world is facing a lot of issues related to nature and its conservation.The challenges are based on climate change, urbanization,pollution,deforestation,and damage to the rich flora and fauna.She also encouraged the students to conserve the soil,water,air and energy resources.
