Apeejay College Jalandhar Organised 'Spring Fiesta 2024'

Jalandhar,(Amrish Anand) When it comes to providing quality education to students and their holistic development Apeejay College of Fine Arts,Jalandhar continuously strives to provide best to its students be it academic and cultural development of the students or hone their entrepreneurial and marketing skills.With this objective,Spring Fiesta 2024 was organized in the college.The Fiesta was inaugurated by the Chief Guest - Mrs.Anupam Kaler,IAS,Commissioner,Municipal Corporation,Kapurthala and during the Closing ceremony,Ms Manjeet Kaur SP(PBI) and Arjun awardee graced the occasion as a Chief guest.Principal Dr.Neerja Dhingra welcomed the guests on the occasion of Spring Fiesta and said that our college is soaring high on the path of progress on the vision of our Founder President Late Dr.Stya Paul Ji and the principles and the continuous guidance of Dr.Sushma Paul Berlia,(President,Apeejay Education).She added Spring Fiesta is an opportunity for the students to hone their entrepreneurial and marketing skills.The Spring Fiesta began with the enhtralling performance of students of Department of Dance in praise of Maa Durga. Gagandeep,the student of Music Vocal sung the folk song and entertained the audience.Dr. Dhingra said that Madam Kaler is a perfect amalgamation of intellect and liveliness.Her presence has certainly inspired the students and Ms.Manjeet, who is a well-known name in the world of athletes is a source of inspiration for the students of our college to achieve greater heights.Expressing her views on the stalls set up by the students and the college,Mrs Kaler said that visiting Apeejay always fascinates her as the students here do their work with pure dedication and sincerity and unique creativity.Madam Manjeet also praised the stalls set up by the students and appreciated the creativity of the students.She also advised the students to grow and shine and always stay away from the drugs and join Sports which is an opportunity to stay fit and healthy and at the same time a platform to bring laurels and make their country proud. Both the guests were presented with a memento as a token of love by Principal Dr.Neerja Dhingra.In the Spring Fiesta 2024 various stalls of food,games,designer jewellers,paintings, murals,designer Mobile Covers etc.were set.For students, swings were the special fascination.Also,there were Raffle draws for which there were gifts like LED,Microwave,Blender, Mixer grinder etc.The Fiesta was a fascination for everyone from kids to adults and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly.Principal Dr Neerja Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr.Jagmohan Mago and Dr.Manisha Sharma for the successful completion of the event.
