Street Play “Sulghdi Dharti” Highlights Social Evils at TPD Malwa College

Moga,February 3 (Amrish Anand):Jai Ho Rangmanch, Nihal Singh Wala (Moga), staged the street play “Sulghdi Dharti” at TPD Malwa College, Rampura phul, on February 2,. The powerful performance highlighted pressing social issues including the growing menace of drug abuse, female foeticide, the rising incidents of theft and robbery, disrespect towards parents, and other social evils prevailing in society.The play was keenly watched by the students, who appreciated the strong expressions and meaningful messages conveyed by the performers. Each scene left a deep impact, making the presentation both engaging and thought-provoking.The play was written by Balraj Sagar and directed by Sukhdev Ladhar. The cast included Sukhdev Ladhar, Ashu Nayyar, and Shubdeep Shubh, who impressed the audience with their impactful performances.On the occasion, Principal Dr.Baljinder Singh, Assistant Professor Simran Aks, along with the entire teaching staff and students, were present. The programme concluded successfully with active participation and support from the college administration.
