Sanatani Rajinder Pal Anand Seeks Unconditional Apology from MP Dharamvir Gandhi

Doraha, August 27 (Amrish Anand): National Senior Vice President of Shri Hindu Takht Bharat, Head office Shri Kali Mata Mandir Patiala (Advocate )Rajinder Pal Anand, has demanded an unconditional apology from Patiala Lok Sabha MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi over what he described as objectionable and derogatory remarks concerning religious programmes associated with Sanatan Dharma.Anand said that the Punjab Government has organised religious programmes representing different faiths as part of its secular approach and has also undertaken initiatives related to the promotion of Sanatan Dharma. He claimed that thousands of people have participated in such programmes and expressed their religious devotion.According to Anand, the remarks allegedly made by MP Dr Dharamvir Gandhi have hurt the religious sentiments and faith of a large section of Sanatan followers in Punjab. He said that such comments were unexpected from a Senior and respected political leader.Anand demanded that Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi publicly apologise to Sanatan followers through a live social-media statement within 24 hours. He further appealed to members of the Sanatan community to consider socially and politically opposing those responsible for remarks they consider disrespectful towards their faith in the upcoming elections.
