Saraswati School Students Enjoy Educational Tour to PAU Saras Mela

Doraha, October 9 (Amrish Anand) — Students of Saraswati Model Senior Secondary School, under the guidance of Managing Director D.S. Gusain, Madam Asha Gusain, and Principal Pritish Gusain, enjoyed a one-day educational tour to the Saras Mela organized at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana.During the visit, students explored various stalls where over 1,000 artisans from across India showcased their traditional crafts, handmade art, and cultural heritage. The students especially admired electronic lamps and lanterns made by Rajasthani artisans and handcrafted jewellery with a Jaipuri touch exhibited by women entrepreneurs from Surat.Madam Asha Gusain congratulated the district administration and participants, appreciating the initiative taken under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain. She said the fair beautifully reflects India’s rich cultural heritage and encouraged youth and families to visit and enjoy the event.
