MLA Manwinder Giaspura Flags Off Bus Under Chief Minister Tirath Yatra Scheme in Doraha

Doraha, March 19 (Amrish Anand): Under the Punjab Government’s welfare initiative, the Chief Minister Tirath Yatra Scheme, a bus carrying devotees from Ward No. 4, Doraha, was flagged off for pilgrimage to the holy city of Sri Harmandir Sahib. The bus was flagged off by Manwinder Singh Giaspura, MLA from Payal constituency, in the presence of local president Sudarshan Sharma (Pappu).On the occasion, the MLA interacted with the devotees and extended his best wishes, praying for their safe and comfortable journey. He stated that the scheme, launched under the leadership of C.M Bhagwant Mann, is providing people with an opportunity to visit prominent religious places, and a large number of citizens are benefiting from it.He further informed that during the journey, all essential facilities including comfortable transport, proper accommodation, food, security, and medical assistance are being provided by the Punjab Government.During the three-day pilgrimage, the devotees will pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib and also visit Durgiana Temple, Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sathal, as well as other important historical and religious sites such as Jallianwala Bagh and Wagah Border.He added that the Punjab Government remains committed to the welfare and convenience of the people, and such citizen-centric initiatives are providing significant relief to the general public.Several prominent personalities, including Sudarshan Sharma (Pappu), Bobby kapila & members of the local community, and other dignitaries, were present on the occasion.
