LPU Violence Case Reaches High Court, Student Seeks CBI Probe Into Vandalism and Arson

Jalandhar/Phagwara: The LPU violence case has reached the Punjab and Haryana High Court, with a student filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a CBI investigation into the alleged vandalism, arson and violence reported at Lovely Professional University (LPU).

The petition has been filed by an LPU student, who has sought directions for an independent probe into the incidents that took place on the university campus and surrounding areas.

The petitioner has also sought an urgent hearing of the matter before the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday.
