GNN College gives opportunity to surrounding schools to showcase their talent

Doraha, August 25(Amrish Anand) In a unique endeavor, Guru Nanak National College Doraha organized an inter- school competition today in which as many as 350 participants from a total of 16 schools of Doraha, Sahnewal, Khanna, Samrala and Ludhiana participated.According to the organizing secretary Prof. Rampal Banga and Dr. Nidhi Saroop students of Government Senior Secondary School Sahnewal, School of Eminence Sahnewal, Shakti Public School Sahnewal, Kalgidhar Academy Dugri, Sahnewal, Mount International School Sahnewal, Shakti Public School Doraha, Nankana Sahib Public School, Kot Gangu Rai, Government School Rupalon, Green Grove Public School Mohanpur, Khalsa Senior Secondary School Madpur, Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School Doraha, Saraswati Senior Secondary School Doraha, Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School Doraha, Oxford International School, Payal, GSSS Rupalon and BZSFS Senior School Manji Sahib, assured their active participation in literary, dance, music, dramatics, fine arts and heritage items.The president of Guru Nanak Managing Board Mr. Harpratap Brar, apart from congratulating the college for organizing the contest solely for school students said that this would provide them adequate exposure and strengthen confidence in them. Dr.Sarvjeet Brar, principal of the college, exhorted the students to participate more and more in such contests in order to polish their skills and develop the confidence required by him if he has to stand in good competition in the times to come.Principal of GN Model School Dr. D P Thakur, Executive committee members Roopinder Brar, Ravinder Malhans, Principal Green View School Begowal Majhail Singh, Block Nodal Officer Varinder Singh Manager of Saraswati Model Senior Secondary School Asha Gosain, Senior faculty from Government School Dhanansu Dharamjit Singh Dhillon and Mehjeet Singh Gill were especially present.
