Guru Nanak National College Doraha wins gold medal in powerlifting

Doraha: August 25 (Amrish Anand)Recently, Gaurav Sharma, son of Mr.Amandeep Sharma, a student of Guru Nanak National College Doraha of B. A.Part One​, he has brought glory to the college by winning a gold medal in power lifting. Giving this information, Head of the Physical Education Department Dr.Nirlep Kaur Deol said that Gaurav Sharma won the first position in the 75 kg weight category in the Power Lifting International Championship held in Jaipur, Rajasthan by lifting a total of 175 kg, thus qualifying for the National Championship and has been selected to participate in the Power Lifting Championship to be held in Singapore in November 2025 and Thailand in January 2026 . President of the College management Committee Mr. Harpratap Singh Brar, Executive Member Mrs. Roopinder Kaur Brar, office bearers, and College Principal Dr.Sarvjit Kaur Brar congratulated Gaurav Sharma, and the entire team of Physical Education Department for this wonderful achievement.
